Questions I Know You Want to Ask Me

I know marketing is important, but how exactly will The Maven Mastermind benefit me?

You know how we can sometimes get stuck in business tasks because we don’t know how to do something, are overwhelmed by the many possibilities or are just unsure how to handle a situation? If you participate on the live calls with an open mind, that won’t happen. You’ll get the answers you need to move forward quickly and powerfully.

You’ll also be surrounded by positive, energizing people who are ready to allow greater success and ease to enter their life. To me, this is invaluable! When I have attended community groups on health and wellness in the past, they are inevitably immersed in the virus of “lack:” lack of clients, lack of money, lack of opportunity. This is poison for a wellness professional’s business and highly contagious. You will be consistently encouraged to release your limiting beliefs around what is possible, one gentle step at a time.

When are the classes held?

The Maven Mastermind tele-gatherings are held the 1^st Thursday of the month at Noon Eastern time, making exceptions for holidays. Each class will be up to 75 minutes long. The Be the Expert Q&A calls are held on the 3^rd Thursday of every other month beginning in March 2008. (So month one you’ll have one call, and the next you’ll have two calls and the third is back to one, and so on.)

What if I can’t make the calls?

No problem, be sure to listen to the tele-gathering recordings and read the transcript of the Wellness Marketing Classroom each month (you can do so as often as you want) and implement the strategies that make sense for your business.

How do I cancel my membership?

Send an email to membership@mmmaven.com prior to the next month’s classes and you will be unsubscribed from the Mastermind within 48 hours. If you decide to cancel your membership after you’ve already received the current’s month class, you will be billed for that month.

What if the Mastermind isn’t what I though it was? Can I get a refund?

If you’re unsure, I encourage you to listen to the sample classes at the top of this page to see if you resonate with my teaching style and my approach to marketing. There are no refunds.

Can I share my membership with a friend?

If you would like to be paid what you want, then there comes a time when you must start to pay others for what you want. No more bartering and no more discounting of your services. There’s no harm in asking, but the answer is no. Thank you for honoring this.

How will I access the recordings? I’m not too tech-savvy.

Many of us aren’t very tech-savvy when we started our business. Don’t let it stop you. You can learn anything new with a little patience and focus. If you can open an email and click on a link, you’re good to go.

You’ll receive an email with a link that will open up to a web page where you can click play and listen to the tele-gathering via your computer or click on a link and download the class to your iPod (or other MP3 player) for listening at a later time.

I’ve never been on a tele-class before? How does it work?

Welcome! The following information should help.

At class time, call the number you received in your registration email from a quiet location. Only call that number at class time, not before or after the class. No one will be “there” at that number except during the scheduled class time.  

When you call in, I will hear a beep so I will know someone has arrived, but no one will know that it's you. When you hear me say "Hi, who just joined the call?" feel free to say "Hi, everyone, this is __________ from __________.”

You may call in late, but please don't speak when coming in because you will interrupt the call. Listen quietly and come up to speed into the flow of the discussion.

The tele-classes are discussion-based, meaning that I start off with key points and invite everyone to contribute something at designated times. If you prefer to sit back and listen, that's fine too. The format is like a discussion in a class room or a living room, except that it's on the phone.

When the class is over, feel free to say goodbye to everyone and just hang up.  Please don't stay on the line after the call is over as our telephone conferencing system needs to reset itself.
