About the Author and WellProNet.org: Karin Witzig Rozell has been teaching health and wellness professionals how to grow their business since 2003. She started as a nutrition counselor who knew a lot about nutrition, but not a whole lot about business and marketing. After learning some tough lessons she cracked the code and now her passion is transforming practitioners into profitable business owners using the power of authentic marketing strategies.

In 2009, she expanded her private practice and launched The Wellness Professional Network as the go-to place for practitioners to learn about making more money doing what they love.  Karin lives in Upstate New York and works from home with her husband who also runs a successful coaching business.

Join me, Karin Witzig Rozell, this Saturday, December 6th, 2008, for a special, closed-door workshop (it's free!) and networking event with graduates of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).

Hosted by the Wyckoff, New Jersey Group of IIN grads.

Topic: How to Gracefully Collect Testimonials from Clients and Simple Ways to Use them in Your Marketing Materials.

Got Great Testimonials?

Most health and wellness professionals don’t.
And it’s not because they don’t do great work. No, it’s because they were never taught how to ask, when to ask and how do so in a way that feels good for both the practitioner and the person being asked.
In this info-rich class, you will learn:
· What makes a great, client attracting testimonial (and how to gracefully request them from your clients)
· The three different kinds of testimonials that attract new opportunities
· When to ask for a testimonial (and how to train your clients to participate)
And so much more!

The Details:

One-hour, in-person workshop and group meeting open to IIN graduates ONLY and space is very limited.

Less than 10 spots left as of Monday, Dec 1st.

The group meeting is from 10:30 to Noon.

Karin will speak for one-hour (10:30am - 11:30am, Saturday, Dec 6th) on how to collect testimonials from clients in a way you can feel good about and that also helps you grow your business.

Directions to this informal, interactive event will be provided with confirmation of your reservation.

Maven Recommends: Organize Your Workspace

Posted by: Karin | Comments (0)
One of the best things I ever did for my business was hire a professional organizer.

I hired Erica Ecker of TheSpacialist.com in the early years of my business and I still use what she taught me to tame my piles of paper and conduct my business like an organized professional.

I'm a big proponent of eliminating any confusion in your business. And your workspace is definitely a great place to start. Confusion attracts confusion - confusing clients and distracting condititions in your business. Clarity attracts more clarity - in the type of clients your work with and the opportunities you attract.

If you're near the New York City area, on March 27th, 2008, Erica is hosting a "How to Organize Your Workspace" class for self-employed professionals. Unless you are naturally super organized, you need to go!

This is the perfect workshop for you if:
· you are overwhelmed managing the paper, mail and schedule for your personal life or your business life.
· you have piles mounting at your home, at your office or your home office.
· your workspace at your home or office is driving you crazy.
· you can't find what you want when you need it.
· you spend too much time trying to get it all done.

Don't worry, it's not you, it's your workspace.

You'll learn how to:
· create a workspace that works for you.
· implement practical solutions to your organizing dilemmas.
· demystify paper piles.
· easily manage your papers, receipts and mail.
· organize your computer files.
· integrate these tips into your already hectic schedule.

Date: Thursday, March 27th 2008
Time: 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Place: In Good Company
16 W. 23rd Street
4th Floor - NYC

Register Today:
Send an email to: workshops@thespacialist.com
Space is limited.
Price: $59.99.

Here's a little more about Erica.

Erica Ecker, The Spacialist, is a space visionary and a natural-born pro at organizing and setting up systems that work easily for others.  She has helped hundreds of clients just like you get out from underneath their stuff and create organized environments.  Erica has been featured on NY1 News and in such publications as Newsday, New York Moves, Fitness, Self, Women’s Day and Real Simple.
