Learn How One Broke Guy Built a Wellness Empire

inc0808.gifMeet Joe Cirulli, Owner of the Gainesville, Florida Health & Fitness Center.

That’s him, front and center, on the cover of this month’s issue of Inc. Magazine.

Joe turned his last 12 cents into a $17 million wellness company in an industry racked with high-turn over clientele and staff and a resistant target market.

How he’d do it? By combining gut wisdom, chutzpah and applying what he learned in self-help books.

Sounds easy enough, right?

I’ll add two more thing that has made Joe and his staff incredibly client attractive.

1. Vision.

His company isn’t just about getting fit and healthy. They have a vision to make Gainesville the healthiest community in America.

What does this big idea do? It gives his company the courage to take risks, make bold requests of himself and others, make those phone calls, follow-through and say no to opportunities (and potential employees) that just don’t match up to his vision. This perspective propels him past limiting beliefs, and the “who do I think I am” or “I don’t know enough” syndrome.

Another thing he has.…

2. Commitment.

An unrelenting desire to keep going, no matter what drama, upset or difficulty presents itself in his business. It’s an embracing of whatever small and big failures line the path to success, rather than seeing challenges as symbols to give up and get a job.

You know, most wellness pros have read the very same self-improvement books that Joe has on his bookshelf that have guided his business. I think that gives us an edge.

Find out how Joe applied what he read in those books and how he and his team of wellness nuts are turning their town into one of the healthiest places to live.

To your success,

Karin
