Create Your Own Sound

Do the words in your marketing materials evoke a mood?

Is your style of working with clients expressed in your website and flyers?

Like music, the words you choose in your marketing evoke a feeling or state of being.

And your ideal clients will respond to your work by your willingness to express this.

One way to make your materials stand out from your colleagues is to have a clear “sound”.

Your “sound” in your materials creates a deep resonance with your website visitors and touches the inner desires of your potential clients.

You want to have ONE unique sound that people can recognize in your work and everything you do.

Madonna doesn’t sing opera. Nor would Luciano Pavarotti create a pop song.

The most successful artists pick a sound, stick to it and master their craft.

So must you.

Here’s an easy way to create your own sound in your business.

If you had to choose one song to represent your business, what would it be?

Don’t judge what comes to mind.

You may be surprised. It may be a deeply spiritual chant, a pop song or some other genre that you might think is an unlikely match.

Don’t judge it.

It’s only for you. You don’t have to announce it to the world.

Now go find the lyrics of that song on the internet and print it out.

Highlight the words that evoke the feeling you get from listening to that song.

Integrate them into your marketing copy.

See if you can evoke the feeling that you get from that song into your marketing message.

Go ahead. Let Yourself Shine. Create your own sound.

To your continued professional expansion,

Karin
