What to Name Your Business and Website

Struggling to figure out what to call your business or website?

Feeling held back by not having the "perfect" name that encompasses all that you do and what you are?

When you're unsure about what to name your business, choosing your full name as your domain and business name is never a wrong decision.

When I first started my business eight years ago, I wanted it to be "perfect." After all, it was about changing lives. It had to be meaningful. The only problem is that I spent so much time hemming and hawing over this, hiding in my office, and ultimately, not getting business.

Perfection in your marketing materials… there is no such thing. It will constantly evolve as you grow and expand your expertise.

So what did I do?

I named my website Karin Witzig.com and then I was off. (Not without a little coaching from my business mentor at the time!)

It was only a few years later after having much more experience and clarity about what was unique about my services did I change it to Wild Woman Wellness.com. (And now I use KarinWitzig.com as a general landing page for all my websites)

This may sound funny coming from the Marketing Materials Maven, but when in doubt, choose your full name as your website name and get going.

Here's to your continued professional expansion,

Karin
