How to Blend In
Today is opposite day!
10 vanilla strategies for pricing, packaging and presenting your work in a way that makes you blend into your marketplace and not be seen.
1. Price your services at the going rate in your field and area versus by the value your provide.
2. Charge by the hour instead of creating compelling packages and programs.
3. Don't have pictures of you and your team in your marketing materials.
4. Be a generalist and decide that you can help "everyone" instead of focusing one or more target markets.
5. Avoid personalizing your work with your unique personality and style.
6. Do things the exact same way as your colleagues do versus creating your own path.
7. Be modest in your bio and information sheet and avoid sounding like you're the expert you are.
8. Deliver your services in the way others want versus what your soul is calling for you to do.
9. Dilute your message to fit into the corporate world.
10. Don't be clear about what you do, who you do it for and why.
Don't blend in. Blend "out".
